Scoring Methods

Men's Open Division (Total of Best Lifts)

Men's Open division is scored on the best lift totals in each weight class. No body weight or age coefficients are used. Each man is competing against all other men in his weight class based on the total of his best lifts.

Women's Open Division (WFT - Wilks Formula Total)

Women's Open division is scored on the best overall total calculated using the Women's Wilks Formula. Each woman is competing against all other women in the Women's Open Division, regardless of weight class, based on their Wilks body weight coefficients multiplied by the total of their best lifts.

Example: (Total of Best Lifts) x (Wilks coefficient) = Wilks Formula Total

Teenage Divisions (FFT - Foster Formula Total)

Teenage divisions are scored using the Foster age coefficient and the Wilks body weight coefficient. Each teenager is competing against all other teens in the division based on their Wilks coefficient multiplied by their Foster coefficient multiplied by the total of their best lifts.

Example: (Total of Best Lifts) x (Wilks coefficient) x (Foster coefficient) = Foster Formula Total

The Men's Wilks Formula Coefficients are used for Teem Men and the Women's Wilks Formula Coefficients are used for Teen Women. The Foster Age Coefficients are the same for both men and women.

Master Divisions (MAT - McCulloch Age Total)

Master divisions are scored using the McCulloch age coefficient and the Wilks body weight coefficient. Each master is competing against all other masters in the division based on their Wilks coefficient multiplied by their McCulloch coefficient multiplied by the total of their best lifts.

Example: (Total of Best Lifts) x (Wilks coefficient) x (McCulloch coefficient) = McCulloch Age Total

The Men's Wilks Formula Coefficients are used for Master Men and the Women's Wilks Formula Coefficients are used for Master Women. The McCulloch Age Coefficients are the same for both men and women.
